| Ian and Jyl Morrison
A husband and wife team, Ian and Jyl create wall sculptures using natural puriri wood bases with birds sculpted from paper to produce unique artworks. The kakapo opposite was recently on display at Auckland Zoo at the same time as a visit by Sirocco - a male Kakapo. A good breeding season took the numbers of the birds over 100 last year and they remain critically endangered. |
